In its own words

README.mdYashVerma-251103/Placement-Buddy

A Claude Code workspace for running a job search or a campus placement season. Every posting gets a classified analysis, an honestly-tailored resume, an interview guide, and a practice loop — and the whole thing keeps a written record, so nothing evaporates between rounds.

This is machinery only. There is no personal content in it and **no useful default behaviour until you run /onboard**, because the entire system is built around claims you can actually defend, and only you know what those are.

⚠ Make your copy private

This template is public. Your filled-in copy must not be.

After /onboard, this repo contains your grades, your ban list, and a written inventory of the things you cannot defend in an interview. It is the most useful file in the system and the worst one to leak. Use Use this template → Create a new repository → Private, and check it twice.

If you ever push a fork of this template back up, policy/ and JDs/ are gitignored for the same reason: your institution's internal policy documents and employer JDs are not yours to republish.

It ingests your policy — it does not assume one

Placement rules differ at every institution, and a wrong one is worse than a missing one: it will quietly block postings you were eligible for, or coach you into behaviour nobody asked of you.
