README.md

A personal knowledge base, compiled and maintained by an LLM (Claude) across sessions — a Wikipedia-for-one that compounds over time. Sources go in; structured, interlinked, epistemically-tagged pages come out.

Inspired by Andrej Karpathy's llm-wiki.md. This repo is one concrete implementation; the schema and rules Claude follows are in CLAUDE.md.

Directory Layout

├x─ means omitted from the public version.

Reading it

  • Start at wiki/index.md — the master index of every page.
  • wiki/concepts/ are the stable nodes, wiki/sources/ the evidence (each links its original), wiki/projects/ the builds.
  • Links resolve as you click through on GitHub; open the folder as an Obsidian vault for the graph view and backlinks.

Epistemic status — read this first

Every page carries an epistemic_status (literature_summary, personal_reflection, speculative, or mixed), and the maintainer's syntheses are flagged distinctly from the source authors' claims. This is a thinking tool, not an authority.

What's here

The wiki/ pages, the schema (CLAUDE.md), and the maintenance tools (tools/) — a working template, not just a content dump.

Omitted from the public version: personal notes; raw source clippings (each source page links its original); and Karpathy's llm-wiki.md — grab it from the gist linked above and drop it in the root if you want the reference locally.

Content is CC BY 4.0; source summaries are fair use.
