In its own words

README.mdpogii123/obsidian-agentic-second-brain

A generic, reusable Obsidian vault template for building a second brain: a local-first personal knowledge management (PKM) system for capturing, organizing, distilling, and retrieving knowledge — and a grounding hub for AI agents and LLMs. It combines the PARA method, Zettelkasten-style evergreen notes, and Maps of Content with native Obsidian Bases dashboards and a built-in **AGENTS.md** contract so coding/CLI agents can read and reason over your notes.

TL;DR — An AI-ready Obsidian second brain template. PARA-extended numbered folders, ready-made note templates, Bases-powered dashboards, a Zettelkasten knowledge layer, and an AGENTS.md + llms.txt grounding contract for LLM agents. Ships with zero personal content and needs no community plugins. Clone it, open it in Obsidian, make it yours.

What is this?

This repository is a starter Obsidian vault — a complete folder structure, frontmatter schema, note templates, dashboards, and operating routines — that turns Obsidian into a durable knowledge base for both humans and AI agents. It is opinionated about how to organize (by actionability, not topic) and how to stay trustworthy (provenance, verification, freshness), while staying tool-agnostic: external systems (code repos, task trackers, calendars) keep ownership of their own data, and the vault links and mirrors them instead of copying them uncontrolled.
