GIST HUR Group LLM-Wiki

A per-project knowledge compilation system for the HUR Group (Prof. Pilwon Hur's lab), School of Mechanical and Robotics Engineering, GIST — drop in source material (paper PDFs, meeting notes, proposals, Q&A) and an AI compiles a Markdown Wiki with file- and page-level citations, which researchers then review and approve.

  • **Humans own the source material, the AI compiles from evidence, and humans approve

anything official.**

  • The AI only ever writes draft. reviewed/approved are human-only, and a reviewed

document cannot be edited by the AI — it may only file a proposal. This is enforced by code, not by prompting.

  • The canonical record is always human-readable Markdown. Indexes and databases are

derived artifacts that can be rebuilt at any time.

📖 USAGE.md — the full usage guide. Every command, every status transition, and every entry point (CLI, agent CLI, MCP) with worked examples. Start there if you are actually going to run this.

Design background, requirements, and scenarios live in the lab documents (PRD.md, SCENARIOS.md). Built for internal use by the GIST HUR Group.

Installation

The only requirement is Python 3.12+ (plus pipx). The search database is the bundled SQLite, and snapshots/rollback use a built-in backup — no Git needed. Install once per machine; you do not reinstall per project (use init to create projects).
