What This Is

This repo is a Claude CoWork workspace template for life sciences research pipelines. You set it as your "work in a folder" directory when starting a new task in Claude CoWork (Anthropic's agentic desktop app). Each research session creates structured, versioned outputs under output/{slug}/.

It is not a bootstrap script collection or environment setup tool. Its sole purpose is to capture research pipeline outputs in a reproducible, git-tracked format.

Who Is This For?

Learn — Educational / Trainee

"I'm learning pathway biology and need to understand how drugs connect to diseases."

Trace a disease mechanism step by step — from a mutated gene to the enzyme it encodes, the substrate that accumulates, and the drugs that intervene. The pipeline resolves every entity to a canonical ID and lays out the causal chain so you can see exactly how biology connects to therapy.

  • Try it: /ob-research Identify the substrate that accumulates in Fabry disease and explain why
  • You get: A mechanism report with a step-by-step table linking GLA to Gb3 accumulation to three approved therapies, every node grounded in HGNC, UniProt, and ChEMBL identifiers.
  • Example output: output/fabry-disease-gb3-accumulation/
