Getting started

Option A — Claude Code (recommended for non-Cursor users)

Claude automatically reads CLAUDE.md and loads full team context.

  • Start working — try any of these prompts:
  • "Write a PRD for [feature]"
  • "Prioritize my action items"
  • "Draft an exec update for this week"
  • "Review this spec for strategic alignment"
  • "Plan my week"
Option B — Cursor IDE

This deploys skills, agents, and rules to ~/.cursor/.

  • Open in Cursor and restart — context and skills load automatically.
  • Optional: Connect MCPs (Slack, Google Drive, etc.) — see MCP_SETUP.md.

This quarter's goals

Claude and Cursor are aware of these. Reference them by name in any prompt.

Knowledge base

Our strategy and domain context lives in knowledge/executive-tooling/. Claude reads these automatically for roadmap and strategy questions.

Keep these updated — the more current they are, the better Claude's output.

Memory — context that compounds

As you use agents, context accumulates in memory/. Agents read previous outputs before starting, so they get better over time.
