Prerequisites

• Claude Desktop app installed (macOS or Windows)
• A paid Claude plan (Pro $20/mo works, Max $100/mo or $200/mo recommended for serious use)
• The app must stay open while Cowork runs tasks

Quick Start (30 minutes)

Step 1: Download this kit

Click the green Code button at the top of this page → Download ZIP. Unzip it anywhere on your computer.

Step 2: Move the workspace folder

Find the Claude-Workspace folder inside the unzipped download. Move it to your home folder so the path is:

• Mac: /Users/yourname/Claude-Workspace/
• Windows: C:\Users\yourname\Claude-Workspace\

You can drag and drop it in Finder or File Explorer — no terminal needed.

Step 3: Open Cowork and select your workspace

Open the Claude Desktop app → click the Cowork tab at the top → select your Claude-Workspace folder as the working folder.
