This is how I'm learning agentic product management — by building it.

Why 152 Skills?

It started with one repo.

I found phuryn/pm-skills — 63 skills covering discovery, execution, and strategy. A solid baseline. I installed it, started using it, and immediately noticed what was missing: leadership skills, career development, sales enablement. The stuff that makes a PM effective beyond just shipping features.

So I went looking. RefoundAI/lenny-skills had 86 skills distilled from Lenny's Podcast — coaching PMs, managing up, navigating career transitions. I merged in the 46 that didn't overlap. Then deanpeters/Product-Manager-Skills filled the finance and validation gaps I kept bumping into. 15 more unique skills.

It kept going. Every few weeks I'd hit a moment — needing an ADR template, a scope-cutting framework, a Shape Up bet-sizing skill — and I'd find another repo that had exactly that. product-on-purpose for engineering-adjacent work. alirezarezvani for landing pages and SaaS scaffolding. assimovt for Shape Up methodology.

152 is where it landed. Is that too many? Probably. But now I have the most comprehensive PM skills library I've found, covering the full lifecycle from discovery through delivery, strategy through sales, career growth through org design. Each skill was a gap I actually hit, not a checkbox I was trying to fill.
