In its own words

README.mdalissonryan/openclaw-chief-template

Turn your OpenClaw workspace into a practical chief-of-staff / operator system.

This is a sanitized starter kit inspired by a real production setup, but stripped of:

  • secrets
  • personal memory
  • private projects
  • tokens, account IDs, internal URLs

What you get

  • AGENTS.md with startup and memory rules
  • SOUL.md for tone and operating style
  • USER.md.example to define who the assistant is helping
  • GOALS.md.example to define strategic direction
  • PRIORITY_MAP.md for weekly focus
  • AUTO_RESOLVER.md for autonomy boundaries
  • HEARTBEAT.md for recurring operational checks
  • TASKS_DONE.md for completed-task archive
  • memory/ scaffold with indexes
  • docs/ with setup notes

Philosophy

This repo is not trying to be generic enterprise sludge. It is meant to be:

  • opinionated
  • lightweight
  • file-based
  • easy to adapt
  • useful on day 1

cash-flow priorities, memory discipline, and recurring operational loops beat fancy agent theater.

Install

  • Clone this repo somewhere local.

  • Replace placeholders in:
  • USER.md.example

  • Rename the .example files you want to activate.
  • Review AUTO_RESOLVER.md before letting the assistant act freely.
