README.mdacLebert/CareerPipelineOps

Personal job search pipeline for tracking QA/SDET applications, auto-scanning for new roles across multiple sources, monitoring Gmail for recruiter responses and LinkedIn job alerts, and viewing everything from a live Netlify dashboard.

What It Does

  • Job Scanner — Runs daily at 9am via Task Scheduler. Scans 4 sources: TestDevJobs (HTML scrape), 29 Greenhouse API boards, and BuiltIn (Playwright stealth scraper)
  • Gmail Scanner — Checks Gmail every 2 hours for recruiter emails and LinkedIn job alert digests. Detects intent (interview invite, rejection, generic response) and auto-imports LinkedIn alert jobs into the pipeline
  • Live Dashboard — Mobile-responsive HTML dashboard on Netlify with tier/status/source filters, search, stats bar, profile switcher, and "New Today" badges
  • Application Tracker — Markdown-based tracker in data/applications.md with canonical statuses (Applied, Responded, Interview, Offer, Rejected, etc.)
  • Multi-Profile — Support multiple job seekers with isolated CVs, trackers, and configurations
  • AI Integration — Claude Code / OpenCode skill for job evaluation, CV generation, interview prep, and pattern analysis
  • Tiered Scoring — Jobs auto-scored into 3 tiers based on title match:
  • Tier 1 — Senior + core QA keyword (e.g., "Senior QA Automation Engineer")
  • Tier 2 — Senior OR core keyword (e.g., "Senior Automation Engineer")
  • Tier 3 — General keyword match (e.g., "QA Engineer")
